Pocket Orbit

I found a tiny moon inside my coat It rolled around and tapped against my phone It said, “Come on, the day is getting wide” So we took the bus and let the windows ride One step left, one step right Little moon says, “Feel alright” Pocket, orbit, round we go Turn it once and let it roll Pocket, orbit, here we are Carry happy in a jar Hey! Pocket, orbit, round we go Turn it once and let it roll We bought a pear and gave it a tiny hat The shopkeeper laughed and waved us down the track At every corner, someone joined the parade With paper wings and lemonade One step left, one step right Little moon says, “Feel alright” Pocket, orbit, round we go Turn it once and let it roll Pocket, orbit, here we are Carry happy in a jar Hey! Pocket, orbit, round we go Turn it once and let it roll When the clouds come piling up We make a boat from a paper cup You hold the map, I’ll steer the spoon We’ll sail right over the afternoon Pocket, orbit, round we go Turn it once and let it roll Pocket, orbit, here we are Carry happy in a jar Hey! Pocket, orbit, round we go Turn it once and let it roll Pocket, orbit, round we go Little moon, don’t let me go Pocket, orbit—round we go Pocket, orbit—home we go
