Creator names must be unique. Capitalization and extra spaces do not make a difference. Your profile address is checked separately.
This creator name is already taken. Please choose another name.
You can change your profile address once every 30 days, counted from the last successful change, not the start of a calendar month. Artist name, songs and followers stay unchanged.
Old addresses remain assigned to your account and lead to the current address while your profile is published.
My account → Notification settings → Email notifications. Choose comments, replies or @mentions individually and save. To turn off, disable the relevant switches and save again. The bell and newsletter have separate settings. Check the preview or delivery status shown: local previews do not save or send anything.
No emails for historical notifications; up to 10 emails within 24 hours, not every activity is emailed. Turning off stops messages not yet handed over; sent emails cannot be recalled.
All three email categories are on by default, including existing accounts without saved preferences. Your saved choices are preserved. You can turn the switches off and save at any time. Necessary account and security emails are unaffected.
On the homepage or dashboard, expand TENALIA Next Steps. Planned examples only appear after opening it. The link opens the full preview; credits and paid features are not active yet.
This is a preview, not a purchasable offer. Scope, pricing, credit allowances and launch dates are not set. Your feedback may change these plans.
Credits would cover future AI marketing actions, not listening to your music. The credit system is not active; no real balance is displayed or spent here.
Opens an email draft. We only receive feedback if you send it yourself. No automatic waitlist entry, subscription or notifications.
Future plans & AI creditsOpen the language menu at the top and choose Deutsch, English, Français or Español. Changing the language keeps the current page and its filters. Personal texts, track titles and artist names are not translated automatically. An email that has already been sent keeps its original language.
Open the separate artist management test from the local dashboard. Sign-in is shared; data is separate and previous artists are not copied. Confirm age 18 or older for your first test artist. Choose a name, permanent handle (3–30 lowercase letters, digits or underscores) and biography up to 500 characters. Add more artists with the add button. New profiles stay private. Names can change once per 30 days; biographies remain editable. Wait for the saved confirmation; errors preserve input. Reloading retains data. Return to the previous dashboard for earlier tests.
Under Tracks and publication, select your artist; a single profile is selected automatically. Upload MP3 (at most 30 MB and 15 minutes) and a square JPG/PNG/WebP cover (800–4096 pixels, at most 6 MB, not animated). Select a database genre and AI type, and confirm your usage rights. The server checks audio frames and duration. After the saved confirmation, the private track can be played. Retry an unconfirmed upload with unchanged files without creating a duplicate.
Publish the selected artist profile locally first. Confirm public sharing on the track and choose local publication. The public test view shows only released tracks and files, even while signed in. The player shows the assigned artist. Retract a track to make it private, or retract the profile and all its published tracks together. Making the profile public again does not automatically republish tracks. Already downloaded files cannot be recalled. Everything remains local, with no production upload or listening statistics. Favorites and playlists are connected through My music library; insights, community and production integration remain pending.
Declare whether the song contains explicit content when uploading. There is no preselected answer. Choose Explicit for explicit sexual lyrics, strong profanity or graphic depictions of violence; the label appears on the individual track before playback and in the player. Pornographic images and videos remain prohibited. This is not an age rating and does not label the entire creator. There is no additional Explicit filter.
Existing tracks without a declaration are not automatically suitable for everyone. Complete their rating under Edit track; a choice is required before republishing. In the local artist integration test, choose during upload or before publishing. The older artist lab has not yet been updated. This extension is local and not approved for live release.
In the compact player, ⋯ opens favorite and playlist actions for published tracks, including creating a private playlist. Close or Escape dismisses the menu; switching tracks resets it. Guests see a sign-in link.
Open My music library from the new local artist dashboard or public test view. Favorites belong to your account, not an artist, and always stay private. On published tracks, use the star or add-to-playlist action. Choose your own playlist or create a new private one there. Existing items are disabled; repeated additions never duplicate a track.
Open a cover tile to view its track list. Switch your own playlists between public and private using the compact selector. Drag tracks by the handle, or use the up/down keys on the focused handle. Stale order changes are rejected; reload on error. Removing a track only removes its list entry. Play from a tile or detail view to start currently available tracks in playlist order; previous/next in the player changes tracks. After opting in, local Quality Plays count toward artist insights, not live charts.
Save public playlists from other accounts under Creator playlists without editing the originals. Creator changes appear on reload; availability is checked again before playback. A playlist made private appears without its name, covers or tracks as unavailable and can be removed. Retracted tracks cannot play; your own lists and favorites retain a neutral removable placeholder. The previous lab library and TENALIA production stay separate.
Select an artist in the local dashboard. Statistics use only that artist’s stored Quality Plays: weekly unique listeners, countries and top track. Self-listens, future and too-short events are excluded. Countries require five distinct listeners and use five-person bands over the last 28 complete UTC days. The eight weeks start on Monday UTC; the current week is incomplete. No events means no invented figures. Enable local listening counts and restart playback. After 30 seconds heard (short tracks to the end), at most one Quality Play per track and test account counts in 24 hours. Guests and self-listens are excluded. Disabling stops new collection but retains prior events. This is not acceptance of live terms. Reload insights after listening.
Local test: New confirmation links return directly to sign-in on port 3110. Then sign in with your test email and password; pasting the link remains available. After a media upload, the highlighted saved confirmation receives focus and scrolls into view, showing the artist and private status. Use the dashboard link to review it. Errors preserve your inputs.
Discover shows only public test tracks with audio and cover from public artists. No artist profile is required to listen. After local sign-in, favorites belong to your account and stay the same when switching artists. Find and remove them under My favorites. Withdrawn tracks leave only an anonymous removable entry. Local playback does not yet count toward charts or listening statistics. Playlists, community and production accounts are not connected here yet.
Choose a genre and AI type explicitly: AI-generated for AI-created music, AI-assisted for your music made with AI support. Uploads remain private drafts. Publish locally from the dashboard once the artist profile is public and audio and cover are present. Complete metadata before publishing. Returning to draft hides the track and its media from the local visitor view; a private artist profile also hides its tracks. Publication is on this computer only, not tenalia.ch. Genres are a local test catalog.
Current status: audio and covers are now connected locally; older notes below are superseded. Select an artist, then use the media upload form. MP3 up to 30 MB and 15 minutes; square, non-animated JPG/PNG/WebP, 800–4096 pixels and at most 6 MB. Confirm your rights and save. Play the private draft or view its cover in the dashboard. Everything stays on this computer, with no live publication. Retry an unconfirmed upload with unchanged files. The separate title form still creates a text-only entry.
Listener growth, countries and top-track insights use stored fictional events. Countries require five listeners and use groups of five; guest, own and non-quality plays are excluded. A single artist is automatically selected for upload. Live account integration and charts remain pending.
The local dashboard follows the existing layout: select an artist at the top. The profile, track list and release count belong to that artist. Save or cancel profile edits before switching. The listener library and account settings remain shared; these and community statistics are not connected in the lab. A dash does not mean zero.
Start a track from an artist card to preselect that artist. From the general track entry, select a profile yourself. Check the displayed attribution before saving. Unknown or other owners’ profiles are not selected. After saving, the title is cleared and the artist stays selected.
Separate artists, names, biographies, visibility and track assignments persist after reload. Sign in at /de/local-login using a separate @example.test account. For signup, copy the confirmation link from the local mailbox on port 55444 into the login confirmation form. Each account starts empty and manages its own artists, tracks and private files. Previous demo data remains separate. The session refreshes automatically during use. Sign in again after at most eight hours or a server restart; signing out immediately ends the session. Studio billing and public label pages are not included. Do not enter real account data in this lab.
TENALIA CREATOR GUIDE
Follow these steps to open your account, set up your creator profile and use TENALIA.
TENALIA is still in development. Available and upcoming features are therefore clearly separated.
Estimate: 45 minutes of core tasks plus 10–15 minutes for a return visit and feedback over seven days. No minimum duration. Pause anytime; if blocked, report it and skip the task. Times are estimates, not measured requirements.
Explore without additional help first. What is TENALIA for? Where would you start? Write down your impression before reading the next tasks.
Register without an invitation code using email and password or Google. No invitation code is required. Existing account: sign in instead of registering again. Email and password: open the confirmation link in the same browser profile and explicitly confirm your email. Google: select your account, then complete your country, age group and required consents on TENALIA. Existing age and consent requirements still apply. Enabled two-factor protection remains required. Existing account: sign in instead of registering again. Choose Discover, Publish or Both. Creators: name and short bio; listeners: display name and username. Are shared names and visibility clear? Do not create a second account.
Creators: make your creator profile public. Upload an existing MP3 and cover that you have the rights to publish publicly. Review the title, description, genre and AI label, confirm your rights and deliberately choose Publish directly. A draft is only an optional intermediate step. Then check the track on your public creator profile, in Discover and via its link in a private browser window without signing in. Test playback and editing the details. Do not publish confidential material or content not yet intended for release. No new music is needed. Listeners without a track: explore published tracks and creator profiles instead.
Try play, pause, resume, volume and seeking where available. Navigate to another page and observe playback. Is the current track clear? Note interruptions and device/browser. Do not replay tracks to inflate counters.
Search for a visible track or creator, try a genre filter and weekly/monthly charts where available. Open a creator profile. Can you navigate back? Are empty results and rankings clear? With a small catalogue, do not invent content: what would help you find suitable music?
Save a published track as a favorite and find it in your space. Try removing it. Follow a creator, find your following list and undo if desired. If no suitable content exists, note this and skip.
Return on another day during the week. Can you find your draft/favorites/creators again? Check existing notifications without forcing new ones. What motivates you to return? A second device is optional.
What was useful, confusing, unnecessary or missing? Would you return without a test assignment — why? Give your top three improvements and actual time spent. Honest criticism is welcome.
Switch DE/EN and check mobile layout. Comment/react only if you genuinely want to contribute: these may be public. No test spam, false reports or social-media connections. Password reset/2FA are not required tests.
For each issue: task, expected and actual result, page, device/browser, approximate time and whether you could continue. Screenshots are optional and must exclude private data. Never send passwords, invitation codes or unpublished music. Use your agreed Discord area or reply to your start email; Discord is optional. Report security issues privately to security@tenalia.ch.
ℹ Upload help if neededFor new creators, public visibility is preselected but can be unchecked. Only Save makes the name, bio, images and links public. Existing private profiles keep their setting. Publishing a track with a private profile requires additional confirmation; earlier published tracks may then become visible too. Saving a draft does not change the profile. After a subsequent failure, check the dashboard: the confirmed profile may already be public. Do not upload again.
Register without an invitation code using email and password or Google.
Confirm your age group, the Terms and the Privacy Notice.
Choose your creator name and add a short description.
Add your website and selected music and social media profiles.
Keep your profile private as a draft or make it visible to others.
After successful registration, focus moves to the success notice. Then confirm your email address. On track pages, expand or collapse the complete description; its text remains unchanged.
Your account starts as protected listener access and does not automatically make you a creator. To publish your own music, deliberately choose Set up creator profile in the dashboard. TENALIA automatically creates your unique profile address from your creator name. Listener display name and creator name can each change once every 30 days. Creators manage only their creator name. The profile address changes separately: see Profile address. Official role-like names are protected; changes are recorded. Other profile details remain editable. Save profile is at the bottom of the page. When following a link with unsaved profile details, you can save, discard or keep editing. Leaving after saving requires confirmation of success. Closing or reloading uses the browser's own warning. Back/forward history still needs separate testing. The profile address remains a separate change.
The track name appears above the edit form. Published tracks also allow correcting the AI label. The save button is disabled while saving; success is confirmed in track management. Errors appear in the form. Public edits still require the existing security verification.
On track cards the creator name opens the public profile; the cover and song title open the track. The track grid shows two cards on small screens, three at tablet widths and four at laptop widths. Covers stay square and the grid width is capped. List view remains available. Page, search, filters and view are in the URL. Browser Back returns from a song to that selection. Pagination moves to the start of the remaining releases. Applying filters keeps the player and queue intact; filters only change the displayed search results. Overview shows track and follower counts; Tracks opens the song list. About contains the full biography, also accessible through the link below the shortened profile text.
With automatic listening enabled, the queue shows the prepared next song with cover, title and creator as “Automatically selected” once no manually queued songs take precedence. Preparation starts during playback. Waiting, searching, an empty selection and errors are distinguished. This suggestion is not a saved playlist entry or a guarantee of uninterrupted playback. On mobile, track actions expand within the large player page; scroll down if needed. × pauses and hides the player while keeping the queue and position. Use “Show player” to reopen it, then press Play to resume. “Clear the entire queue” deliberately removes the selection; signing out also clears it. A failed or previously empty prefetch is retried at most once at song end; real failures and a lack of eligible songs remain visible. The expanded view also offers the queue, comments, sharing, song details and existing track actions. Submenus close without leaving the expanded player. Hiding keeps playback running; closing stops it. On desktop the player stays in a full-width bar at the bottom of the window. On mobile it sits above navigation and opens a larger view when you tap the cover. The page reserves space to keep content accessible. Hiding keeps music playing; closing stops it. The queue shows the current and queued songs. Adding does not interrupt playback; selecting an entry plays it. Clearing removes only upcoming songs. Shuffle mixes upcoming entries; repeat cycles through off, this song and the whole queue. Both start off; manually selecting a single track resets repeat. Comments and sharing open the existing features. Details and lyrics show published content only. Favorites remain private. Automatic listening finds the next song only when the current song ends. Favorites and playlists sit with the track actions on the right, not next to play/pause. The three-dot menu groups queueing, playlist, sharing, details and the protected reporting flow. Escape closes the menu; private previews offer no public sharing or reporting actions. ⤢ Expand opens large playback controls, larger previous/next buttons and a timeline. Minimize keeps the music playing; Escape closes only this view. Internal page and language navigation preserves the player. After a full reload the public queue and position are restored paused: press Play to continue. Up to 50 track IDs and settings are kept in the current tab for up to one hour, never audio URLs or private previews. Unpublished tracks are skipped. Clearing the entire queue or signing out clears this state. Blocked browser storage prevents restoration. Favorites are in the three-dot menu beside comments, sharing and information. Volume sits beside repeat: on mobile the slider opens vertically upwards; on desktop horizontally to the right. Back/forward seek ten seconds for a single track and switch songs in a queue. On mobile, autoplay, help, queue, comments, sharing and the three-dot menu share one compact row. Open song details and lyrics from the three-dot menu.
🌐 Show translation translates the selected public text into your active TENALIA language (DE, EN, FR or ES). It appears inline and is labelled; Show original switches back. Your saved original never changes. Community posts and replies, creator bios, song descriptions, lyrics and public playlist descriptions support translation. Private drafts, names and links are excluded. Sign-in and an available translation service are required. DeepL receives only the selected text when you click, without additional account data. New text areas retain translations only in the open view; reloading may make another request. Machine translations can contain errors. When signed out, a sign-in link appears instead of a service error. Sign in, then select Show translation again.
Period and genre share a compact filter bar. On small screens they stack vertically; the selected date range stays visible.
The badge identifies the mode: Saved chat persists messages; Preview does not. While the chat is visible, new messages load about every 15 seconds without clearing drafts. The latest 200 visible messages are loaded; conversations outside that window close. Automated content review is incomplete.
The Track reports, Comment reports and Chat reports tabs separate report types. Chat reports default to Open. Confirming, dismissing or restoring moves a case to Done, preserving its history. New reports reopen the same case. Moderation → Chat reports groups reports with counts and reasons. Authorized admins/moderators with two-factor authentication only. At most 1,000 recent reports, clearly indicated. Confirming hides the message and records one violation, never multiple on retry. Restoring revokes the violation. Every decision requires a note and is logged. You cannot review your own messages. Affected authors receive a private bell notice after confirmation, dismissal or restoration, showing the current decision. Internal notes and reporter identities stay private. Repeating an unchanged decision does not send another notice; a changed decision becomes unread again. These moderation notices are independent of optional community preferences. No automatic account bans. Repeated reports do not overwrite the original reason.
TENALIA currently records your declaration that your legal guardian approved beforehand. The notice keeps keyboard focus inside the dialog; Escape or Do not confirm yet returns to the field without confirming. A separate guardian email or guardian account is not yet implemented. Registration under age 16 is not available.
New registrations provide their country of residence for aggregated TENALIA usage and listener-country statistics. No location is detected. Existing users can add or change their country under Account and security; missing values are never inferred. Country is not displayed on the public profile.
Listener growth counts distinct signed-in listeners with at least one Quality Play across your tracks each week, excluding guests and your own plays. Eight weeks are shown, including the incomplete current week; weeks begin Monday in UTC. Countries cover your listeners during the last 28 complete UTC days using their current declared country. Only countries with at least five listeners appear, in ranges of five. Small groups and missing countries are not broken down. No example values replace missing data.
Your creator dashboard shows up to three automatically calculated insights: distinct Quality Play listeners in the last two complete UTC weeks, your public top track by all-time Quality Plays and your best current position in the global all-time top 100. The ongoing week is not compared. Ties follow the existing chart order. Each insight links to its statistics or track. There are no AI predictions or invented examples: without activity, insights remain empty; loading errors are shown separately.
In the playlist picker, each of your lists shows its membership: tracks not added yet offer Add; tracks already included offer Remove instead. Removal affects only that playlist, not the original track. The state changes only after a successful save.
Under My playlists, listeners and creators can create their own collections. Private means only you can see the playlist. Public means it appears on Discover, can be found by name or description, and can be shared. Add published tracks using Add to playlist on track cards or track pages, change their order by dragging the handle, and play the complete playlist. TENALIA shows loading or add failures explicitly; reload before repeating the change. Original tracks and charts remain unchanged.
Admins with two-factor authentication see three current counts in User management. Each existing account counts exactly once. No additional usage preference is required.
The private account overview requires additional authenticator confirmation when opened. Analytics only requires verified two-factor sign-in, without a separate unlock. After 15 minutes without interaction, content locks; Keep working appears one minute beforehand. Typing, clicking/tapping and scrolling in the operator area keep it active; music playback alone does not. Enter a current authenticator code to unlock. Your regular sign-in remains; music and uploads elsewhere are not stopped. If session verification is temporarily unavailable, protected content remains hidden without immediate sign-out and verification is retried. An actually invalid or revoked session still redirects to sign-in.
The private account overview is accessible through operator usage analytics and requires operator permission and two-factor authentication. It shows existing account emails, creation, email confirmation and last sign-in timestamps from account management, not optional usage measurement. Times use Swiss time. Not recorded means no timestamp is available. Account creation does not prove completed registration or granted access; a sign-in proves neither current presence nor a test start. Internal accounts are included. Invitation delivery and feedback are maintained separately. No passwords, codes, private content or activity trails are displayed.
Your verified two-factor sign-in is sufficient for this analysis; no additional authenticator unlock. The private account list remains separately protected.
Creation of existing accounts, not necessarily completed registrations. Deleted accounts are absent; unconfirmed and internal accounts are included. Countries are current self-declarations, not IP geolocation. Weeks start on Monday, Swiss time; the current period is incomplete.
Recorded completed password or Google sign-ins, including two-factor sign-in. Not a people count: signing in again counts again; reloads and session refreshes do not. Internal/excluded accounts are omitted. Swiss time; current and initial periods are partial. No historical reconstruction. Technical failures may limit coverage.
The separate total counter stores daily counts without names, account IDs, IP addresses or countries. A short-lived session hash prevents duplicates; no new tracking cookies or individual sign-in histories. Optional usage analytics and consent remain unchanged. Daily counts are kept for up to twelve calendar months. Activation requires database, retention and privacy review; complete coverage is not guaranteed. Replay protection requires a fresh password/Google sign-in within ten minutes.
ⓘ Public play counts: a failed count request does not create a new visitor cookie. Existing cookies are not extended. Music playback and your separate analytics choice stay unchanged; no additional input is required.
Recorded sign-in outcomes, not unique people or all logins. Optional measurement and excluded accounts limit coverage. Small groups stay protected; missing older data does not mean zero logins. Swiss calendar, counts through the last completed day; ongoing weeks and months are incomplete. History starts only after separate activation.
On your first visit, allow analytics or continue without it. Analytics stays off until you consent. Limited login and upload events, active time and listening time help us improve TENALIA. This browser remembers either choice, including refusal. Other devices or cleared browser data require a new choice. Signing in and listening work independently. Change your choice at any time using Privacy settings in the footer; turning analytics off discards unsent events. Previously submitted data remains subject to the retention period.
Measurements, retention and limitations
