That Isn’t Me

GOOD ON ME [Intro] Oh-oh, oh-oh A little happy looks good on me [Verse 1] Been wearing this week like a coat in July Too many tabs open inside my mind You call and say, “I’m outside in five” I find my favourite jeans on the second try A little red lipstick, keys in my hand You’ve got the windows down and a half-made plan We miss the turning, take the long way round Turn it up when the radio cuts out [Pre-Chorus] At the red light, you’re singing With your hand out in the breeze And I catch myself forgetting What was getting into me [Chorus] A little happy looks good on me Dancing like I’ve got nowhere to be Got my hands up high, both feet on the beat Oh, a little happy looks good on me Let the bass line roll, let the whole room sing I forgot how good a night could feel Now I’m laughing so hard, I can barely breathe A little happy looks good on me [Post-Chorus] Oh-oh, oh-oh Looks good, looks good on me Oh-oh, oh-oh A little happy looks good on me [Verse 2] There’s a girl in the bathroom fixing her hair She says, “I love your colour,” so I let her share Now we’re talking like friends from a lifetime back She takes my hand when she hears our track You’re by the speakers, saving us space Three plastic cups and a grin on your face I catch my reflection as we squeeze through I like that girl and her dancing shoes [Pre-Chorus] There’s a message on my phone But it can wait until I leave Right now everybody’s singing And you’re pulling me to my feet [Chorus] A little happy looks good on me Dancing like I’ve got nowhere to be Got my hands up high, both feet on the beat Oh, a little happy looks good on me Let the bass line roll, let the whole room sing I forgot how good a night could feel Now I’m laughing so hard, I can barely breathe A little happy looks good on me [Post-Chorus] Oh-oh, oh-oh Looks good, looks good on me Oh-oh, oh-oh A little happy looks good on me [Bridge — half-time] Tomorrow I’ll pick up where I left off The washing and the things I couldn’t solve But tonight you catch me smiling And I know you see it too [Spoken] Wait—this is my favourite part! [Final Chorus — full beat] A little happy looks good on me Dancing like I’ve got nowhere to be Got my hands up high, both feet on the beat Oh, a little happy looks good on me Let the bass line roll, let the whole room sing I forgot how good a night could feel Now I’m laughing so hard, I can barely breathe A little happy looks good on me [Outro] Oh-oh, oh-oh Looks good, looks good on me Same old jeans, brand-new energy A little happy looks good on me
