The Silence I Carry

MyEspressivo is a space where music speaks when words can’t — songs about love, memory, and the quiet weight of loss. I began creating music after losing my mother to Alzheimer’s, an experience that reshaped my understanding of time and connection. Writing songs became a way to carry memories and give voice to emotions that were difficult to express. Through this journey, I try to honour the people who shaped my life — my wife, my late mother, my father — and the quiet moments that stay even when everything else fades. I am sharing personal songs drawn from my own life. “The Silence I Carry” is one of the first of these reflections — a quiet piece about grief, memory, and the way music can help us carry what words cannot. I use AI-assisted tools not to replace human feeling, but to help express it despite my own limitations. Every melody and lyric still begins with a real emotion. MyEspressivo is about capturing something honest — the fragile beauty of love, memory, and longing — through music that lives where words fall silent. If you’ve ever carried memories that words cannot hold, these songs are for you.
